कोल्हापूर, दि. 22 : जिल्ह्यातील सर्व तृतीयपंथीयांना ‘राष्ट्रीय तृतीयपंथीय पोर्टलची’ माहिती होण्यासाठी जास्तीत जास्त पात्र तृतीयपंथीयांनी ओळख प्रमाणपत्र व ओळखपत्र मिळविण्यासाठी National Portal For Transgender Persons या वेबसाईटला भेट देवून अर्ज करावेत, असे आवाहन समाज कल्याण विभागाचे सहायक आयुक्त विशाल लोंढे यांनी केले आहे.

राज्यातील तृतीयपंथीयांच्या कल्याणासाठी व त्यांच्या हक्कांचे संरक्षण करण्याच्या उद्देशाने राज्य व विभागीय स्तरावर राज्यातील तृतीयपंथीय हक्काचे संरक्षण आणि कल्याण मंडळ स्थापन करण्यास सामाजिक न्याय व विशेष सहाय्य विभागाने मान्यता दिली आहे. जिल्ह्यातील तृतीयपंथीयांच्या समस्या तसेच तक्रारीसंदर्भात तक्रार निवारण समिती गठीत करण्यात आली आहे.

तृतीयपंथीयांच्या हक्कांचे संरक्षण अधिनियम २०१९ मधील नियम २०२० अंतर्गत, विभाग ६ व ७ नुसार जिल्हास्तरीय समितीद्वारे तृतीयपंथीयांना त्यांचे ओळख प्रमाणपत्र व ओळखपत्र अदा करण्याची तजविज आहे. सामाजिक न्याय व सक्षमीकरण विभाग, मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार यांच्यामार्फत राष्ट्रीय तृतीयपंथीय पोर्टल सुरू करण्यात आले आहे. जिल्ह्यातील पात्र तृतीयपंथीयांनी National Portal For Transgender Persons या वेबसाईटवर भेट देवून Apply Online यावरती युजर आयडी व पासवर्ड तयार करून सर्व माहिती भरावी. तसेच ऑनलाईन अर्जासोबत आवश्यक ती कागदपत्रे संलग्न करावीत, असेही श्री. लोंढे यांनी पत्रकाव्दारे कळविले आहे.
