मुरगूड (शशी दरेकर ) : मुरगूड येथिल शिवराज विद्यालय जुनियर कॉलेज मुरगुडच्या तीन विद्यार्थ्यांची विभागीय बॉक्सिंग स्पर्धेसाठी निवड झाली. कोल्हापूर येथे झालेल्या जिल्हास्तरीय शालेय बॉक्सिंग स्पर्धेत राजवीर कृष्णात जाधव 50 किलो प्रथम क्रमांक, ताहीर भोला शिकलगार 48 किलो प्रथम क्रमांक, आयान जमीर मुजावर 42 किलो प्रथम क्रमांक या तीन खेळाडूंची सांगली येथे होणाऱ्या विभागीय बॉक्सिंग स्पर्धेसाठी निवड झाली.

या खेळाडूंना माजी खासदार संजयदादा मंडलिक ,संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष गजानन गंगापुरे, वीरेंद्रभैया मंडलिक, कार्यवाह अण्णासो थोरवत, प्राचार्य जी. के. भोसले यांचे प्रोत्साहन तसेच बॉक्सिंग प्रशिक्षक ओंकार सुतार,अतिश आरडे, प्रवीण मिसाळ व क्रीडा शिक्षक एकनाथ आरडे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली त्यानी यश मिळवले. या यशाबद्धल त्यांचे सर्वत्र कौतूक होत आहे .
