मुरगूड ( शशी दरेकर ) – मुरगूड विद्यालय ज्युनिअर कॉलेज मुरगूड ता. कागल. येथे पर्यावरण सेवा योजनां अंतर्गत छत्रपती शाहू महाराज जयंतीच्या निमित्ताने शालेय परिसर व महाजन काॅलनी येथे आंबा , काजू, अशोक, गुलमोहर, फणस, जांभूळ, रामफळ , कांचन अशा अनेक रोपांचे वृक्षारोपण करण्यात आले. यावेळी प्रशालेचे प्राचार्य एस.पी. पाटील उपमुख्याध्यापक एस. बी. सुर्यवंशी पर्यवेक्षक .एस.डी.साठे, पर्यावरण सेवा योजना शिक्षक.एस. एस. कळंत्रे यांनी वृक्षारोपण काळाची गरज बनली आहे तसेच रोपांचे संरक्षण व संवर्धन करणे आपल्या जीवनात किती झाडं लावली याची जाणीव करून दिली.
प्राचार्य एस.पी.पाटील यानी उपक्रमासाठी माझी वसुंधरा अभियानांतर्गत राबविण्यात येणाऱ्या वृक्ष लागवडीची माहिती दिली व विद्यार्थ्यांना तापमानातील वाढ , बदल होत आहेत याची माहिती देण्यात आली.या वेळी सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांनी उपक्रमांची अंमलबजावणी करण्यासाठी मोलाचे सहकार्य करावे असे आवाहन केले. यावेळी वृक्ष मित्र सुर्यवंशी यांनी वृक्ष रोपं देऊन सहकार्य केले. यावेळी उपप्राचार्य एम डी खांटांगळे पांडुरंग लोकरे आर जी पाटील ए एस चंदनशिवे ए एच भोई , टी एस पाटील टी आर शेळके पी एस पाटील, वाय ई देशमुख एम.बी.टिपुगडे आदी मान्यवर उपस्थित होते स्वागत प्रास्तावित अनिल पाटील ( सर ) यांनी तर आभार विजय पाटील यांनी मांनले
