“Will Not Tolerate Insult to Constitution”: CM Fadnavis
Nagpur, Dec 16 : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made it clear in the Legislative Assembly that both incidents in Beed and Parbhani are serious in nature. The government is prepared for a detail discussion on these incidents, and any insult to the Constitution will not be tolerate, he emphasized.
Speaking in the Assembly, Chief Minister Fadnavis said, “The House must have the expected discussion in accordance with the Constitution envisioned by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.” He noted that the person who insulted the Constitution was mentally ill. The Chief Minister also urged the opposition to rise above politics and provide constructive suggestions to prevent such incidents from recurring.
The matter was raised by Legislative Assembly member Nana Patole. Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narvekar clarified that a detail discussion would be held during the adjournment motion.
