Portugal  vs  Czech Republic

UEFA Nations League 2022/23

Group leaders Portugal will take on the second-placed Czech Republic Cristiano Ronaldo and his team will target an easy win over the Czech but will be wary of the trouble which the latter team can possess. A win for Portugal will give them a good lead over their arch-rivals Spain who lie in the third place in the group

Players like Pepe might not take part in the upcoming fixture while Domingos Duarte is expected to fill the spot in the heart of the defense. Midfielder Bernardo Silva who came off the bench in the previous game might fancy a start.

Czech Republic, however, have quite a few injury concerns. Defender Jaroslav Zeleny was forced off with an injury in the previous game. In his turn, Jakub Jankto was further replaced with yet another injury crisis.

Adam Hlozek will be eyeing an opportunity to feature in the front three for the Czech attack. A four-man midfield of Coufal, Kral, Souchek, and Havel is expected to start in their turn against Portugal.
